Geodes

Geodes are chunky rocks found rarely when mining ores and crystals. They can hold ores, crystal shards, and sometimes gems inside.

Cracking geodes

Take geodes to Garren Vale at the blacksmith shop. He cracks them open for a gold fee. Rewards vary by geode type.

If your friendship with Garren is high enough, he teaches you to craft the Geode Anvil. That bench lets you open geodes yourself without paying the blacksmith each time.
