Jewelry
Jewelry can occasionally be found in loot chests. Bring unidentified pieces to Vex the Merchant or an Appraisal Bench to reveal their effects. Gold is stronger than silver, and necklaces are stronger than rings.
Apprentice jewelry crafting
Recruit the Merchant, then unlock Jewelry Crafting through his building upgrades. Mark a workplace using the Building Staff and place a Jewelry Crafting Bench inside it. The bench is a work surface for Apprentices. It no longer opens a player crafting menu.
Enable Jewelry Crafting for an employed townsfolk in the journal. Create tasks at the workplace and let couriers deliver the materials. Rings use five metal ingots and necklaces use ten, plus one gemstone. Higher quality plans require more life essence and a higher Jewelry Crafting skill: Common 1, Uncommon 3, Rare 5, Mythic 7 and Legendary 10. The task menu shows the exact requirements.
Place an Appraisal Bench inside the same workplace to reveal completed jewelry automatically. Extra appraisal benches do not stack or improve quality. Without one, crafted jewelry still needs appraisal. Completed pieces go to Crafted Goods in town storage. Maintain targets count the chosen jewelry quality.
