Plot placement staff

The plot placement staff is how you stake where a new building will go. You receive one when you craft your first town charter at the town planning desk.

How to use it

1. Hold a plot token for the building you want (from a quest giver or the plot crafting bench).
2. Equip the plot placement staff.
3. Choose the construction type if prompted, then place the plot sign on solid ground where the footprint fits.
4. Bring materials listed on the sign and finish construction with the building staff or by waiting for auto-build.

The staff only places footprints. It does not finish walls or assign villagers. Read Plot tokens for where tokens and blueprints come from, and Building staff for speeding up construction.

Tips

• Story quests usually hand you the first token for a building. Replacements and extra copies often come from the plot crafting bench afterward.
• Some shop quests grant a plot blueprint instead of a ready token. Use the blueprint at the bench, craft the token, then stake with this staff.
