Quest board
The quest board in the guild hall posts daily work for your town. Interact with the board to open a three-card panel showing today's jobs.
New cards refresh each dawn when at least one member of your town is online.
Job types
Fetch
A townsfolk needs supplies brought to town. Accept the job, gather the listed items, and turn them in through that villager's dialogue. Rank tiers gate harder requests and better rewards.
Standard supply jobs include payment for the requested goods plus a delivery bonus. The board shows the full reward before you accept. That price stays fixed for the posted job, even if town shop prices change later. Special requests from other packs may set their own rewards.
Hunt
Kill a certain number of a mob type, then report back to the quest giver. Progress shows on the card and in your journal.
Rescue
Sometimes a townsfolk is tied up at a small camp outside town, held by goblins, trorks or outlanders. Accept the contract and follow the camp's marker on your compass. The captors and their prisoner are waiting when you get there. Defeat every captor, then use the interaction on the townsfolk to cut their ropes. Talk to them afterwards to finish the contract. You do not need to report back to the quest giver.
The rescued townsfolk comes to live in your town. They skip the usual move in gift and still need a house. They are one level better than usual at two skills, and harder contracts bring someone better at up to five.
Press Who is it? on the card to see their profile before you accept. Rescues are only posted while your town has room for another resident and no other house quest is under way. The camp disappears afterwards and the land is put back as it was.
Mining
The Miner and the Blacksmith post mining jobs. Mine the asked number of ore blocks yourself, in any kind of rock, then report back. You keep all the ore you dig. Ore broken in Creative mode does not count.
Raid
A group of hostiles spawns on the outskirts of town and marches toward your borders. Kill every mob in the group to complete the contract. Map markers and a raid health bar show which enemies count toward the quest.
Now and then the board posts a harder contract: a very large delivery order, or an elite raid with more enemies and stronger leaders. These give a week to finish, pay well in gold, and are the contracts that reward Shards of Gaia and Verdant Catalysts. Every town rank has at least one.
Every town rank has at least two different raids, and new ones appear as the town ranks up: goblin scouts and vermin at first, then undead, trorks, voidspawn, outlanders, scaraks and finally whole armies. From rank D upward most raids are led by tougher leaders, such as a trork chieftain or a goblin feastmaster. Harder raids bring more enemies and pay more gold and a bigger bundle of materials that suits the enemy.
Rank and rewards
Each completed board quest grants rank XP for your town. Higher town rank unlocks tougher tiers with better payouts. Cards show a time limit in days — finish before it expires or the slot clears at dawn.
Rewards include gold, items, and reputation with the posting villager when the quest grants it.
Tracking
Active board quests appear on the Quests tab of your town journal alongside story quests. You can abandon a board quest from the journal if you change your mind.
See Guild hall and guards under Mechanics for how to build the hall where the board lives.
