Town records shelf

The town records shelf is a hub of information and controls for your town. In the needs tab you can view the current needs of all the villagers as well as teleport them to you using the teleport button. You can also check villagers gift preferences. It will show any gifts you've given to each villager and their response to it. In the town management tab you can invite and manage players in your town. You can click on a player name to manage their town permissions. You can use the move button to rearrange your building. (Be careful moving buildings, anything that wasn't part of the building when it was placed will be destoyed, including entities like animals).

Production building upgrades

Open the shelf on a production building (farm, lumber mill, miner's hut, barn, and similar workplaces) to upgrade it. Upgrades improve output or capacity depending on the building type. Costs and tiers are shown in the shelf UI — pay from town resources or materials as listed.

Upgrades persist with the plot. Check the shelf after finishing a new workplace to see what the first tier unlocks.
