Hazel can visit from Town Level 4. Complete her Tannery, then unlock Leatherworking workplaces through her dialogue.
Hazel also crafts and upgrades portable backpacks through her separate backpack workshop. A Simple Backpack costs 10 Light Leather. Bring the bag back to choose storage tiers, Compression, an Item magnet or a Travelling jukebox. Open Backpacks under Mechanics for capacities and controls, and Leatherworking workplace for Apprentice setup.
Mark a workplace with the Building Staff and place a Tanning Rack inside it. Employ an Apprentice with Leatherworking skill and enable that profession on the journal's Work page. Add orders through the workplace controls.
The recipe list includes the tanning rack's registered recipes and town plans for leather equipment and courier satchels. Every recipe shows its skill, equipment and ingredient requirements. Couriers deliver supplies, and finished orders go to Crafted Goods.
A Stitching Frame improves attended Leatherworking speed. It does not replace the tanning rack. Train and equip your Apprentice through their profile.
