Armor Crafting
Apprentices make armor and guard kits for the town.
Set it up
- Recruit the Blacksmith, finish their work building and unlock Armor Crafting through their Apprentice workplace controls. You need a free workplace slot under that supervisor.
- Use the Building Staff, choose Create workplace, and mark two opposite ground corners inside town. Choose Armor Crafting, name the area and save. Include the whole Armorer's Workbench in its marked area and height.
- Employ a civilian Townsfolk with a nonzero Blacksmithing skill. On the journal's Work page, enable Armor Crafting; priority 1 is highest. Pay their wages and leave a clear walking route.
Choose Armor Crafting when saving the workplace, then open the bench and queue armor or an unlocked guard-kit recipe. Supply the listed metals and other ingredients through town storage.
Work and output
Collect completed equipment from Crafted Goods or the task page. Equip a guard through their profile; making a kit does not equip it automatically.
If work is waiting
Enable Armor Crafting in priorities. It is separate from Blacksmithing even though both use the Blacksmithing skill. Check bench tier and recipe unlocks.
Keep the area nearby and loaded. Workers also take breaks for their needs. Open Apprentice workplaces for shared staff controls, Work priorities and wages for employment, and Warehouse and deliveries for supplies.
